Review on 💙 Blue Protective Storage Case for New Nintendo 2DS XL by AUSTOR: Ultimate Carrying Solution by William Rothstein

I received this case in July after reading some comments about the smell and thinking it would dissipate over time. I got it and immediately understood what people were talking about; very, very strong smell of burnt rubber or something like that. Seriously, it's the first thing you'll notice. Overall the case itself is decent, the only annoyance is that the rubber strap that holds the games inside doesn't reveal the name of the game, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, the elastic is so tight that the games don't seem to fit very well and it would probably go away with more use if I continued to use it. It's October and I've stuffed a bunch of scented dryer sheets. in and kept it in a closet for about a month. It's less intense, now it smells like something that was in a smoking house a long time ago. It still smells so strong that I throw it away and buy another brand. So be careful, this is not just an unpleasant production smell, this smell has to stay.
