Up to *4000k HID Bulb, Right Side Flickering/Fading, Dull/Uneven Color, Yellowed Headlights, Sun Damaged Grille After *new grille, new 6000k HID -Bulb, restoration of headlights with paint I like the color, the brightness. The light bulb itself is easy to install. The color has hints of blue but is generally white. Both bulbs worked as soon as I reconnected the headlight and started the car. I replaced both headlight bulbs. I checked both ballasts on each headlamp assembly, it turned out that each side had its own ballast. Both ballasts have a clean joint, no signs of corrosion, so I've decided to keep them. After replacing the right bulb, it no longer flickered or dimmed. The left and right bulbs are the same in brightness and color. Since this is a secondary market I didn't know what to expect. Bracket removal tool. The first headlight was painful to remove. The second time it took me 15 minutes. I would say the hardest part is getting my big hand through the fender insert to get to the 10mm bolt behind the headlight. If I took the wheel off, everything would be easier. The lamps were delivered quickly, delivered on time. Other people's feedback helped me, so I think I would do the same for others. There are several videos on YouTube of people showing how they did it. Reading video comments and reviews like this one helped. I will give an update in about six months.
