I was amazed at the quality of this light bar. I've bought light strips in the past that had terrible control, only produced a few colors, got very hot, or didn't last very well. This line goes well beyond that. The remote control is easy to use and subjectively looks very cool. There are tons of preset colors and lighting effects, including fast and slow modes, but what's even cooler is that you can use it to create your own colors and custom lighting effects. The remote control range is very good, as long as the receiver is not covered you can control the light from across the room. The ability to dim is a nice touch too, as these lights can get pretty bright if desired. I let them run for about 6 hours and didn't notice any overheating from the power supply, plug or the lights themselves, making it comfortable for me to use them around my house for long periods of time. Overall, this LED strip is worth the money and in no way exceeded my expectations.
