I bought these to hide the cables from my wall mounted TV. When I received them, the first thing that struck me was that they didn't have an installation guide. I had to learn how to install them and after watching a few videos I felt comfortable installing them. The first thing that went wrong was that in addition to the lack of assembly instructions, there was also no template for assembling the wall, so the first attempt to cut the drywall ended up cutting too big a hole and we had to engineer a solution so that the socket in the wall remained. There were a few other issues we ran into and I felt like they could all be fixed if some instructions were included. The bottom line is - only buy them if you have prior installation experience or you may need a drywall repair kit like I did.
