This is a nice desk but the one I received has no varnish on the wood under the charging ports. I didn't realize it until it was assembled and it was difficult enough to put together so I didn't want to try to take it apart to send it back. I have to try to find the right paint and take care of it myself. Also, there are no pilot holes for screws to attach the side panels, so you have to try to hold the board where you hope to be in the center by driving a screw into a very hard, smooth board. If I had known about it, I don't think I would have bought it. I think I damaged my screwdriver screwing it in, and I know I damaged my thumb. I don't normally have trouble putting furniture together, but this was extremely difficult. But I have to say that apart from the lack of lacquer, the table looks beautiful.
