I used a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter that worked, but I had to place my phone on a wireless charger and the cables sometimes interfered with proper placement of the phone on the charger So I saw this product and decided to try it. Received and installed today. The process was very easy. I ran a long USB cable from the back of the PC to the adapter, then connected the speakers' 3.5mm jack to the adapter, then connected the adapter to the phone (Pixel 4 XL). My phone is on the DVD case. Cables are out of the way and the phone is nice and sturdy. The sound quality is excellent with no crackling, crackling or dropouts. Phone charge time is entirely dependent on the power source and mine charges at the speed I would expect from a USB 3.0 to USB-C PC adapter to connect to the phone, which is fast enough for me is. For the money I think this is the best stable arrangement without sacrificing sound quality. I highly recommend it.
