Bought for a seven year old child. She likes it very much. We keep it in the car in case she wants to read while we drive in the dark. I just had to give her some tips on how to use the book lamp and she understood everything without any problems. She attaches it to different things (a book, a cup holder in the car seat, a shirt, a pocket on the back of the front seat, a metal part of the headrest, etc.) depending on what she uses the flashlight for while driving. It's also small enough to store away easily when not in use.
