I bought five pairs of double palm gloves and I think they are perfect for gardening and homework. The first is the seams, they are very well done and there are no seam defects on any glove. In terms of fit, I range from 6 to 1,220 pounds and they all fit well with enough room for your arm to flex properly when in use. All five pairs I've bought are slightly longer than the measurements they show in the picture, from the tip of the index finger to the edge of the cuff I'm 11 inches. The color of my palm is more green than blue in the picture, but after a few projects the color doesn't matter anymore. On the inside of the gloves they all have padding/padding in the palm and finger area of the glove to give a comfortable feel. They're made in China and sold in most major stores, but the price here seems to be the best I've been able to find. Hope that helps!
