***UPDATE 05/17/21 I bought a second spring because I knew I would have to cut new threads to get the bolt into the ground. But when I received it I could see that they improved the fit. It wasn't as thin metal as the previous one, but still has a small through hole for wires. I screwed it on pretty tight and it didn't break. I took it off, checked it and screwed it back on. So I hope I've fixed a bug in a great product. So I ran into the same problem as many others with this product. When I tried to tighten the nut, the banjo bolt on the underside sheared off before it started compressing the locknut. Viewed from below, it turned out to be a thin piece of hollow metal forming a bolt that was part of a larger, much stronger plate to which the spring was attached. I decided to saw off the rest of the banjo bolt, rethread the base and screw in a new bolt. The base was about half an inch thick and provided more than enough metal for some good thread. It worked very well and held up strong. I'm not sure why they chose to make this bolt hollow, but it's a serious drawback. A little work on my part made this item a 5 star, but unfortunately it got one star.
