Pros: If a child has a cold this would be a good place to recline to relieve constipation. Cons: The white area of the seat ruins the entire cushion because it's thin, uncomfortable, and uncomfortable. I bought this pillow as a comfort seat for my 24 lb daughter as she is always looking for a comfortable seat. Before purchasing, I put her back on a pillow while she sat on the mat and watched TV. It was better for her, at least for my wallet. The white seat is a thin stretched piece of fabric. When she sits down, her ass literally returns to the mat. Also, the pillow on the back is so low that my daughter looks up at the ceiling when she's reclined. In my experience, I sat on the pillow and worried about my daughter. As I sat, I felt like my butt was in an internal chamber opening with a hard floor underneath. The only place she has to look is up when she wants to lie down. No wonder she doesn't like being in it for more than 2 minutes. I can't even use it as a pillow as the 'hole' ruins any comfort this pillow offers. The company had to invest in continuing the fabric and softening the white part of the fabric by making it thinner in the middle. The company could also improve lying comfort by giving the back some support. However, if the goal was to get the child practically lying down, then they did it. Kudos for the soft fabric lining the rest of the pillow and the soft interior. Now I need to figure out how to safely and comfortably pad my butt and give her better support without spending MORE money. Otherwise I will be giving up this product in favor of a suitable high chair for toddlers.
