Light fabric in my opinion
This dress fits my granddaughter perfectly although it runs small. The fabric is lighter than I expected. Feels more like polyester than cotton. It has long sleeves but is not very warm in winter, she loves pockets and wears it with warm pants. However, she loves this dress and will wear it with leggings.
