I've tried many shaving soaps and Williams Mug Soap feels the best on my skin. The time-honoured way to get great Williams mug soap: Drop a puck into your favorite mug. Fill a mug with very hot water and place a shaving brush in it. Leave both the soap and brush on for about ten minutes. Pour the water from the mug while shaking the brush until it is damp and no water dripping. Load the brush for about 30 seconds, then place in the foam bowl and create lather, adding just 1/2 teaspoon of water at a time as needed. You'll have enough thick, creamy foam for three to four passes.
