Good for the price - bath faucets and shower heads

Let's get that out of the way first - I'm a soul addict. Relaxing under a running shower after a hard day (or not) is one of the greatest pleasures in life for me. It costs almost any amount of money to get it right, and I probably spent a lot more than most to get it done. Also, like most people, I tend to live where water pressure is either limited or almost non-existent at times. Which makes it difficult to get a really good shower. Difficult but not impossible. When my last great shower system (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UDBDK8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) finally breathed its last after 7 years in the water I used, it was mine first thought was to just replace it with the same one. However, this particular shower head was on sale for about $8, which seemed like a no-brainer given the alternative was four times the price (I use dual shower heads). At the same time I also bought this - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Y71VXP4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It was about four times the price (about $32) but so expensive I figured I'd at least try it side-by-side and see which one is better. About a week later I ordered another shower head for $32 and removed the AquaDance. I won't be returning it - one day it could end up in our guest bathroom when that showerhead travels to the great plumbing in the sky. But it couldn't match the comfort and quality of the more expensive one, which was easy to see when they were mounted side-by-side. However, it is a very good device and the price (currently the best head) plays a big role in the rating (if the price were €5 higher, my rating would drop to 3 stars). For folks on a budget who really can't justify the extra expense, this is a decent choice (and made here in the US, as opposed to another Chinese-made device). Both heads work great even with low water pressure - I usually always remove the water limit, most are put in place to comply with regulations and the like, but in neither case have I had to do this and the water has been fine. It's not nearly as big as the other one I finished. before use, which means the water can't spread nearly as much. This, coupled with the fact that there's no "rainwater" setting that I like (there's a needle, but nothing that just gives you a clean rush of nice, gentle rain), means it doesn't the shower head is for me. But for you, especially if it goes on sale again, it could be just the ticket. If you want to see the perfect shower (for me, not necessarily for you) you can check out my review of another shower head where I will also talk about another element required to create a dual head shower , which will give an impression you will not soon forget (and never want to leave this tiled Nivana).

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine
