Review on πŸͺ‘ Comfy American Badger Basket White Chair: Stylish and Functional by Erik Gerber

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The holes were misaligned and the tray scraped paint when lifted.

I like Badger Basket products in general. I have a crib with storage, bassinet and swing for dolls and would return to Badger Basket for other doll needs or even toy storage. But this chair disappointed me. One half of this chair came together nicely, but when I attached the other side I found that the pre-drilled holes didn't line up. The wood was soft enough that I could still drive the screws in with a drill just by making a new hole. In that regard, things are looking good. However, my biggest disappointment came when I attached the tray for the high chair. He wasn't exactly sitting in the chair - one side was right up against the tree with the armrest and seat armrest, and the other side had more clearance. Then, when I lifted the tray for the first time, it scraped all the paint off because the two pieces of wood were touching. This doesn't really affect the use and function of the chair, but I was disappointed that it was only cosmetically damaged during assembly. I could just take some white paint and touch up the area, but the next time my kids pick up the tray, the new paint gets scraped off too. I love that this chair has a removable seat cover. It's like a little sheet that adds some color to the chair and is attached to the seat with velcro. When it gets dirty, you can easily take it off and wash it.

Pros
  • Tray really rises and falls
Cons
  • Reliability
