My cable was patchy
Using a cable to connect a Pi Zero to a portable HDMI display. Sometimes it worked, mostly not. It was confirmed to be the Vilros 3ft HDMI alternative cable that came with the kit I bought. Also tested with a 6 foot cable connected to an HDMI TV.
