My wife and I saw this camera at Best Buy and she loved it. We bought it without even thinking about checking out the Revain, which was a huge mistake since the Revain was $100 cheaper. We returned Best Buy and ordered from Revain. We got it for our trip to the beach resort. Well the first few times we used it in the pool it started acting really weird. The screen worked, showing the menu, but the camera itself didn't show anything on the screen and the lens was open. It was very strange, we waited a few minutes and tried again and it worked. We thought it was just a mistake and drove on. Unfortunately it isn't. We took it to the pool the next day and found there was water in the battery compartment even though the latch was locked. Luckily we got back to the room and I still had a day to request a refund from Revain and as it was defective they paid for the return postage. I really want to like this camera and I might buy another one after I get my money back. It takes good pictures and makes great videos, but I'm afraid it's not very reliable. We bought a square trade guarantee, I would suggest doing this if you buy it, it's cheap and will protect you for 2 years I think. We had another waterproof camera, but after a year and a half it failed.
