Review on Men's Charles 🕰️ Hubert Paris Mechanical Pocket Watches by Gustavo Mathew

I bought this as a present for my fiancee's 30th birthday and when I received it I was disgusted with the quality and sent it back. It's new at best. I felt like it wasn't worth the $80 I paid for it at all. I read the reviews and had high hopes but when the item arrived it was already broken. The pin broke off, apparently due to the TERRIBLE packaging - The watch came in a small zipped pouch inside a huge box - 12 x 6 x 8 inches. with 1 pc. air packet. It did not come in the box pictured or with any instructions/documentation. All of this may be because some of the shipping companies have no idea what they are doing. However, the quality of the product is definitely a manufacturer issue. "Crystal" is made of plastic, the numbers on the front are poorly painted over. There was black ink in places where it shouldn't be, and no ink in depressions where color should have been. I think if Charles-Hubert had put a little more effort they would have made a great product. In the meantime I will buy my fiancee something else and avoid her brand in the future.
