I used disposable pads for almost a year with my first child, but with this one I decided to try reusable pads to avoid such a waste of money and plastic! I was hesitant to buy chest contour pads or regular reusable pads as I like wearing tank tops and nursing tops and wanted them to look smooth. I bought both varieties to try. I understand that I need at least two sentences. Ironically, the contour stitching that gives the pad its particular shape gives away a lot, making it lose the whole purpose of contouring! Also, the seam down the middle goes through the pad, chafing my nipples and leaving them irritated. For the flat nursing pads, I chose Andy Met Ali nursing pads because of the color scheme. I've been using it for over 3 months now and absolutely love it! The size is perfect for me (was a D cup, now it's a cross between D and C cup) and they don't show at all! They are very soft, hold up well after numerous washes and have nice additional functions. I would never go back to disposables again. I can only recommend these!
