If you're looking for a robe that's light enough for spring and fall but isn't made from cheap, flimsy cotton or even worse Halloween costume-like material, look no further. It has some weight (again, not sheer cotton), but just enough to do its job and envelop you in its cotton-like, comfortable softness. The sleeves are really long (rather than neither here nor there) and unlike (reviews of) other robes I've seen, the hem doesn't open up as you walk (cut). I washed it before wearing and hung it to dry and it has retained its color and shape. Being cotton I expect it will shrink a little when tumble dried but it's a bit big but I like it a bit bigger plus the sleeves are long enough. If you plan on hanging it out to dry I would recommend ordering a size down to fit. I plan to order another one soon.
