My waist is 29" and the small fits PERFECTLY (medium belt opening so if you are 1-2" over or under 29" the small is perfect She). The lavender color is exactly what I was hoping for. It goes almost perfectly with my purple Tieks! It doesn't look like an expensive belt or anything though, and judging by other reviews I'll definitely be careful unbuckling it so the cuff doesn't pop out, but it feels quite secure and utterly charming. The bow is small and delicate, not big and gaudy. The belt itself is very thin, it should emphasize the waist and not hold the pants. The hole clasp also fits securely in the holes so I'm not worried about it popping out. I definitely recommend it!
