These things fit well. You are cozy. They stay down. They don't rub on a hot day. And most importantly, they work flawlessly. RE: Sizing - my hip measurement was on the high end of the L/XL size. They were tight when I first put them on. After about 4 or 5 hours of break-in time they fit perfectly. FWIW, I have a 29 inch inseam so I was worried they would be too long. It's not like this. In fact, I can't recommend them enough. I ended up going for these because I didn't want to carry two different pads between my knees and calves. Besides, what sadist would refuse to wear shin guards, especially now that the platform pedals have metal spikes? Monster. You all.
