This is a lubricant, what can I say about the lubricant? I applied it to my Foredom shafts as directed and ran my tools as directed to remove excess grease. I can't say if they have extended the life of my shafts because I never run my tools without proper lubrication. I had a broken shaft due to a combination of too much pressure and too much shaft flexing, causing the spring to break. Having learned the limitations of the spring shaft, I use it accordingly and often lubricate the shaft if I use it a lot. Beat
