* This is a Vine review. I received the product for free but see all the products as if I paid for them. If you look at my reviews, you will see a lot of negative comments about Vine. *This is a great monitor, don't get me wrong. However, given the price, you should be able to get an IPS monitor. We have several ASUS monitors with the same high quality, resolution, ergonomics and IPS: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-PB278Q-2560x1440-DisplayPort-Monitor/dp/B009C3M7H0/ Viewsonic is definitely comparable in quality for ASUS there is no significant difference between them. So maybe "IPS" doesn't really matter. However, since ASUS is a bit cheaper, I recommend it. But you can't go wrong with that if you like Viewsonic and want to stick with it. I think high quality monitors are essential for creative people. You look at it all day and need good viewing angles, ergonomics and color reproduction. Viewsonic scores highly on all of the above. Ergonomics are key and this monitor, like ASUS, is highly customizable in that regard, reducing eye strain. In addition, the screen is also very consistent throughout. No vignettes or other problems. All in all an impressive monitor, slightly more expensive than some of the other options.
