Sorry for the not very nice surroundings. Overall the mount is great for my need to hang a TV from the ceiling in my new basement gym during Covid. It's very solid, has some flexible corners (tilt up and/or rotate down, but please don't do both, it will be a weirdly misaligned corner) but the problem is with the installation and I think I'm quite comfortable (we have installed a treadmill, ping pong table and lots of furniture in the house). On the other hand, it may be one person's work, but it will be difficult. I'm 5'4" Asian, but I could lift a 50" TV by myself. Right, the only thing I really don't like is the poor guide that consists of 4 main steps. This could have been easier if I hadn't chosen "used in good condition" which (1) should have been offered at a much smaller discount due to missing parts and missing tags as whoever returned it had a few Screws/washers mixed up. bolts etc together which makes my setup feel like a guessing game, and (2) the used price is now $2 cheaper than what I paid for - I paid closer to the brand new price but I don't want to go back to that snow weather and yet wait 2 days. Luckily since the kit was enough for a few options like drilling cement and wood and three types of TVs, and the warehouse worker also threw in some random parts (but not enough), I had to play with creativity and pulled it off. set up, but if we take a closer look, some of the bolts and washers don't match or match. Also, it completely changes the quality of our training since the TV is right in front of us. The ceiling in my basement is very low so I removed the middle mounting hinge with only two and in the picture this is the tallest TV that could hang from the ceiling but it could definitely be a lot lower for higher ceilings. Any future tilt will require loosening and tightening with tools and not by hand, so make sure the tools are nearby and definitely not confused with other homemade tools. I put extra bolts and screws in the center arm and keep them along with the instructions in case I ever need to set them up again. I like the idea of giving a product a second life, but it wasn't a good balance between cost (time) and benefit (a few dollars). If you buy a new one, you will surely like it.
