Received two of these kits. One for my car and one for cup holders in my living room. I was afraid that the metal brackets in the sofa console would eventually rust from the "cup sweat". For my car, I wanted to keep my water or coffee out of the cup holders. Well they work great. Only thing is, if you put down a metal mug like a Yeti, it makes a loud "pop" when you put it down, but it doesn't shatter. So I highly recommend them if you're worried about sweating or spilling liquid from your cup. Please note that depending on the cup holder, these may not fit perfectly. Check the size first.
