I have a wired G430 from Walmart. Wife broke the first pair, I bought another. I didn't know anything about anything else and definitely no complaints. Children jumping on my lap, a dog tripping over my wire cords became very annoying. Obviously everyone wants to be near my computer. I started looking for wireless earbuds and spent all day + all time at work looking for a good pair of wireless devices, browsing, third party reviews and YouTube videos. I first ordered the Arctis 1 series of steel --- Highest grades; I had weird balance issues - one speaker was louder than the other. I loved these headphones as my first order. The wired options were amazing for my sound card to get more sound out of them. I sent them back and then replaced them. The same tonal balance problems. I then wanted to do a deal on some of these improved options, knowing that if they went bad I could return them and save a lot of money. I ordered Flight X Cloud - wired and wireless options. I have a Flight XS --- who's complaining about a free upgrade, right? The sound was very balanced, but at very low volume, with no wired connection and the 7.1 surround option was just awful. Running them in regular stereo was actually decent. I was still disappointed when I saw this Razer. The reviews said they were something. 4/5 Lots of bad things about her. Even on Youtube. I found them for $129 out of $180 so I decided to give it another try. IMPRESSIVE. Not sure who's checking them out based on the low ratings, but the sound quality on stereo alone was incredible. More importantly, I can barely hear anything when the kids and the wife are yelling at everyone. That alone made her worthy. I use wired audio on a dedicated sound card and knew wireless would be rubbish, but these things sound like my THX speakers. Didn't use a mic - I don't need them for the mic, but I've heard they don't rule out the best. No balance issues - nice acoustic noise reduction. The headset looks like it's made out of cool materials, to be honest it's very comfortable, but I wouldn't say it's just out of this world. Very impressed by the average man who just wanted to buy better, "high quality" headphones. I would buy this again and again. I may have gotten a good version but I was tired of returning headphones and was too surprised at how good these are for the price.
