First of all, 2 days after purchase, I went to check my order, clicked on the product and there was another product on the list. It was repulsive. Also, shipping took about 2 weeks, but that didn't really matter to me. This shelf looks beautiful and we'll be keeping it, but that's really the only good thing I can say about it! All of the main pieces holding the shelves had knots in the wood which caused them to warp a bit. Because of this I couldn't add the last screw, it was too curved to add but not very noticeable. Also, you'll need a drill to attach the top piece, so we just left that. You will also need pliers to tighten the screws as they are not tight enough by hand. It was easy to put together, but some of the holes weren't even big enough for the screws to fit on the first try. I had to use a screwdriver about the same width to widen most of the holes. When assembled, it does not stand up on its own, it is weak and needs to be placed against the wall. Because of the design, the shelves can lean forward slightly when you put heavy things on it, which is what we need it for, that's ok. A little disappointed in value for money. it's really not worth the money. This item shouldn't cost more than $30-40, but I think they should make up for the higher shipping cost for the larger item. I would not recommend this.
