We are in the transition from winter to summer and our duvet needed a break, so we bought the TOPGREEN duvet alternative. That's great. The weight and warmth are perfect for almost all seasons - not stuffy in summer and warm enough in winter - and I should mention we keep our thermostat settings on gas and electricity saving temperatures - 76-78 in summer and 64-68 . in the winter. We usually use a ceiling fan over our bed except when it's REALLY cold, and that comforter and sheet is all we need at all times. the same everywhere. We have found that "real down" duvets inevitably have the down distributed unevenly, so not only does the duvet itself feel lumpy, but the heating/cooling provided by the duvet is uneven. This blanket takes everything away. Wife and I give 4 thumbs up!
