Windtook is a good economy backpack. This is a beautiful backpack and has many nice features. I would rate it at the lower end of the price/quality range. This bag is probably suitable for a younger student. It has a protective flap that closes the main compartment. It looks like it closes with a buckle, but it's actually a magnetic clasp. The front zippered compartment is just over 10 inches deep and 8 inches wide. This is an open compartment with no other storage pockets. The backpack has two buttons that can be used to take up extra space in the main compartment. The main compartment measures approximately 15 inches deep and 12 inches wide. It features a dedicated laptop/tablet storage compartment with Velcro to secure your device in place. This compartment has the minimal padding. There are no other pockets in the main compartment. The main disadvantage is the lack of small inner pockets for storing things. There are two water/juice pockets on the sides of the backpack. Unfortunately there is no elastic in the pocket so it doesn't stretch. For hand carry, there is only a 1 inch wide strap that stretches 2.5 inches. This works for a short time, but can quickly become uncomfortable if you wear it for a long time. The shoulder straps are minimally padded, adjustable, and have mesh material on the inside of the straps to aid in airflow. This inexpensive backpack is probably best suited for younger students.
