Review on 🧱 1771 Piece LEGO Star Wars Building Set by Nico Ramdeen

A little blocky - but it seems neat!

I have been making Lego (and similar to Lego, including nano blocks) for many years. I was impressed with the clarity of the instructions and the way they were presented. I had to change my usual method of assembly as everything was geared towards clearly numbered packages rather than the color and shape of the parts. Turning on the Cube Separator came in handy because errors were still occurring even with the outlined areas of the new parts for this step. Unlike most kits of this nature, there really wasn't any symmetry to work with other than the head (eyes and ears). ). That made it much more complex than something like a building or a ship. Where that one star was lost was that from "Bag 10" (beginning of the head) there was no longer an outline of where the pieces went. Because the head was smaller and more complex, it added complexity where it really shouldn't have been. Aside from a small information stand and a mini yoda (non-posable leg), this model weighed 2 pounds 13.6 ounces. It would be even harder if there were no cavities within the main sections (sides, front, back, head) over the hollow interior. Using an inside frame and just attaching it to the outside was really neat! Be careful when putting the head on - don't put it directly on its back - the pin holding the head could fall out! It "snaps" into place when you put it on the back of your head. :) In general - I liked it. I bought this for ME!
