Works as advertised

I bought these based on the reviews I read on the Kindle Fire - many reviews mentioned that the mini USB charging port is easily damaged or broken - so I decided to Buying these extensions and inserting one of them permanently in the charging port, and leave the other end free. When I need to charge my Kindle, I plug the charging cable into an extension cord, which eliminates the hassle of fiddling with the connector. Works great so far!
