Review on ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ Adaptable Floating Retainer Sunglass Eyeglass by Brett Gilbert

Effective (But Sturdy)

This eyewear holder set offers excellent value for money. Do the trick to ensure you don't lose your glasses or sunglasses while engaging in water activities. My only complaint has to do with the stiffness of both the straps and the ends that go over the goggles. As for the straps, I expect them to be more relaxing than they are. They tend to protrude a bit instead of just lying flat on the back, which reduces comfort a bit, but they're made from fabric-covered foam, so that's inevitably the nature of the beast. That was my expectation and not a design flaw. So be prepared that although they look like traditional goggle straps, the foam will affect the fit. As for the ends of the plastic tubing that you attach to the headphones, they're rigid with a fixed diameter, so they can only be used with headphones that aren't too narrow, not too thick, and not too curved. In other words, a real Goldilocks situation. If you have glasses with narrow temples, the tube diameter is too big and does not hold the temples well. If the ends of the headphones are on the wide side (like many sunglasses) the tubing will not be able to stretch far enough to accommodate enough tubing to ensure a strong and secure fit. And even if the headphones' width is somewhere in the middle, if they're bent too much, the rigidity of the tube will make it difficult to attach and/or remove the restrictors (not impossible, just tricky). So in the end I'm glad I bought them, but a heavier rubberized tapered hose would have solved all my problems. However, the seller offered a good price, but keep in mind that they do not necessarily fit every pair of glasses.
