After reading some blogs the problem was either the photoconductor or the toner cartridge or both. The first thing I did was change the photoconductor because it was cheaper and was theoretically still a resource in the toner cartridge. The photoconductor solved half the problem. I then replaced the toner cartridge and everything was fine. So if your printer is old, just replace both of them.
