I'm a party DJ and recently became a break DJ in a group of friends. Much more light was needed to fill the scene, as well as for backlighting and overhead lighting. I have a pair of RGB photo lights with side panels to direct the light. I wanted this set because it doesn't look like photo light. And I'm glad I took the risk because these lights are amazing. Super bright and do a really great job filling the scene. We also used them as bottom and top lights for the group. I am going to try them for group lighting next weekend because they are very bright even against a white background. I love the color palette they make and even used pink which looks really cool. My photo light does not produce this color. The remote was a little fiddly at first, but once we figured out the buttons from the manual, the remote was easy to use. I also downloaded an application that allows you to control it from your phone. It can also be controlled from the back and we like the dial to be able to dim the brightness. They are really bright and do a great job filling the show. They should be empty if you want them to blink and not just solid color. The tripods that come with them are much better built than the tripods I have for photography, they come with a swivel head so you can point them down as well. Are you looking for a beautiful set of lights to set the mood, really change the atmosphere and use for a party, be sure to buy these. They come with a very nice soft padded case that prevents the tripods from bumping into each other and scratching the paintwork. The padded interior and exterior also protects the light panels. This is a great deal for what you get and well worth the money. LED lamps also last forever. I definitely recommend it!
