This case adds a pop of color to an all-black Chromebook. It seems to add *some* edge protection when dropped, but not much. When I first installed it I was a bit disappointed with how it fit. In most places the clips hold the shell securely, but in some places they don't quite fit properly. While the lid is securely attached, it leaves a lot of space between the case and the Chromebook. I think I was hoping for something more solid. To add something I really like, the manufacturer added legs to the back of the bottom. This allows for better airflow from the fan and, in my opinion, a better typing angle as well. Overall I'd say it's worth the price at the moment. I will update if my opinion has changed after prolonged use.
