Lamp at my feet

After a recent 13 hour power outage I decided we needed some USB rechargeable LED lamps. Incredibly bright on high settings and still decently bright on the lowest settings. It has built-in magnets so you can hide it somewhere nearby. This is now at the front of our kitchen fridge. The lowest setting runs for about 8 hours continuously and provides enough light to be used for basic tasks. It ran for about 6 hours on average and was surprisingly bright. I didn't test it at altitude but the light is amazing. It's a bit too bright at altitude but gives enough light to safely navigate a fairly large area or, if you can hang it up high, maybe just continue with normal activities. Nice addition to Ghost Light on a dark stage. Easy to charge via USB, it just works which is the highest compliment I can give for a utility/emergency item. I suppose it can also be used to charge a phone and the like, but at the cost of time as a flashlight. It would also be a great addition to a trunk lid or tailgate of a car or SUV as it is small and out of the way. When I was a brat, all hoods and decklids had decent lights to work with. It seems like it went away many decades ago, but it would make a great replacement. However, DO NOT leave it attached under the hood, it burns quickly and may catch fire or explode. Lithium batteries sometimes become irritable. If you want/need security lights during power outages or weird dark places in your home or crypt, this is one of the best I've had. Has gained some weight and feels sturdy and not at all fragile.
