I use it at my desk and for work events but I leave it plugged into my computer and on low 60-70% of the time. A low setting is enough to cool down my tablet monitor (it gets old and generates some heat, I use it as a third monitor so it's on all the time when I'm at my desk). With the fan pointed towards my body it gets very cold, although I get cold easily the wind is very strong even on low IMO setting. When I clean and move. I turn it on high for a quick cool down and it's great! The clip is very stable, I just left the fan on my PC and no wobble problems. I can't put it anywhere.
