Review on 5 Gallon Pail StarFire 75W90 Full Synthetic Gear Lubricant by Amir Tune
Inexpensive, hopefully quality, gear oil
Had to change out a wheel seal on my class a RV. The diffs on this thing are huge, I needed over 4 gallons of gear oil. I found this option on revain and decided to give it a shot. It's full synthetic and meets all of the specifications on my RV. Immediately after changing the seal, I drove 5,000 miles across the United States. No problems so far, I'm happy.
Pros
- The full synthetic formulation of StarFire 75W90 provides excellent protection against wear, corrosion, and foaming. It also maintains its viscosity in extreme temperatures, ensuring smooth gear operation and maximizing equipment efficiency
Cons
- Although it's an excellent gear lubricant, this product is not compatible with all types of equipment or machinery, so it may not be the best option for certain users
