Review on πŸ‘“ Efficiently Organize Your Eyewear Collection with mDesign Stackable Plastic Eye Glass Storage Organizer Box Holder - 2 Divided Drawers, Chrome Pulls - Clear by James Murphy

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Unsuitable boxes and self-destructing label.

I have purchased several of these organizer sets in the past and look forward to protecting/storing (hooray, aging!) my ever-growing collection of reading glasses. But unfortunately the organizer I received missed a few key points. Firstly, the drawers don't slide out easily, requiring effort to fully close them. Possibly a manufacturing defect, it struck me (while carrying the readers :)) that the front edges of the drawer had an extra 1/8 inch of plastic in the way (maybe something that should have been sawed off during production). In any case, if a drawer is not completely closed, it will interfere with the opening/closing of another drawer. the part that's most visible.) You've probably removed thousands of labels in your life - I know I've done that - and you know there are two types of labels: those that easily come with one or two let loose in big big pieces. .and others that threaten your sanity (and your nails) make you curse the glue gods, and even if you manage to slowly and methodically rip off the labels one by one. Then you still can't get rid of the adhesive residue. If you guessed that this organizer has the label number 2, you won! As much as I live for organized eyewear, I don't want to spend an hour of my life fighting the label, especially since the drawers don't slide out easily. You win, tag, you win. I gave the organizer 3 stars because my reading glasses (for reference, they're all about the size of an average Ray-Ban pair) fit easily in the drawer sections. If the boxes weren't divided into sections, you could probably get 4 pairs of points in each box. Also, this organizer fits perfectly in the three drawer cabinet I already have. (Seems to be the same manufacturer - the pens are the same - but my old set didn't have a removable label and had drawers that work fine.) Also, the hard plastic seemed to scratch the lenses, so I kept the organizer I put on a soft lens cloth or similar at the bottom of each section to protect the glasses.
