I was glad I got less plastic with this brush head than any other. Yes, they have nylon bristles and a metal ring, but the body isn't plastic! Wonderful! I don't know why people are upset about this. I also wonder if the people complaining about this are doing things like driving, eating foods that contain palm oil, eating meat, etc - we can all do a little to get far, so let's encourage effort. Unfortunately, I can't get a brush head to stay on my Sonicare while in use. The vibration repels it which means I have to hold onto it to use it. Not very practical. I'm on the first of three so maybe it's a coincidence? I don't really want to throw one away to try the second for environmental and economic reasons. If they stayed they would be super cool. They are soft and appear to be well made. I really like them, just not the falling part.
