This product smells great and works as advertised. The reason I gave it an average rating is because I use it in a portable pot and there were no instructions on how to use it that way. So I'll stick with guessing. I think I use too little because I have a slight odor. However, it does an excellent job of tending to paper and dissolving feces. It was very easy to keep my unit clean and tidy. I never left it for a full seven days because to be honest I'm older and don't want to lift anything heavy. It would be nice if the bottle had instructions for potty users.
