This knee brace supports my aching knee very well but I ended up cutting off the inner tube of fabric. My calves are a bit large (18 inches) to wear them all the time. It worked well but there was occasional irritation from the Velcro at the back of the knees. The three straps work better than most other braces and don't chafe. If your calves are thinner than mine, just leave the fabric tube in place and it will hold the Velcro against your skin. lost the first one), I left the inner sleeve in place and it worked MUCH better.
