The colors are amazingly vibrant and our daughter loves it. But until she put it on, I didn't realize it wasn't. single full skirt. By this I mean that the colors are NOT sewn together. Each color is sewn at the top of the waistband only and has a satin ribbon at the bottom that hangs loose and is not attached to adjacent panels. The tulle inserts are also more transparent than shown in the photos. So this "skirt" is more of an accent piece that can be worn over something like leggings or stockings, or maybe layered over another solid color skirt. One way or another, this requires a separate insert. Because of this, it's used a little less often than our daughter's other real skirts with built-in pads.
