We've been doing the redneck thing of using Duct Tape to keep our freezer door closed and it's a pain in the butt because it doesn't stay sticky enough after repeated openings. My son, who normally is the one to replace the gray duct tape, suggested getting some type of refrigerator latch. I thought we would have to drill into the door, but I found a number of adhesive products that wouldn't have me drilling anything.Just got these latches an hour ago and I installed it to the freezer door. It was pretty easy. However, it didn't come with instructions and I did watch a video as I didn't want to waste a latch by improperly putting it on. The video on this page isn't quite clear to me, but going onto YT, I did find a video showing better how to unlatch both sides and adjust the one side that you can adjust for the length.Hopefully the adhesive will be good enough to last for a long time and keep our freezer door latched as sometimes I do put too much stuff in the freezer and that's when this latch is necessary. If it somehow doesn't work out, I'll update this review, but for now, I like the simplicity of this latch and it's white, so it matches our white refrigerator freezer unit.
