Compact and ideal for transport.

The case has good rigidity but is considered a soft case. I placed my games, 3DS XL, and charger inside the case, zipped it up slightly, and gave it a few hard squeezes. It can take a little pressure, but if you were planning [for whatever reason] to leave it where someone is going to step on it, you might want to consider a really hard case. Otherwise I am satisfied and enjoy the compactness of the storage.
