My daughter and I ordered one of these monitors and are very happy with our purchases. The monitor has a relatively heavy base and solid body around the screen. We haven't had any dead pixel issues. I had to play around with the settings to increase the brightness, contrast and saturation. Basically, I bought this web browsing, document prep, and stock charts; and the extra screen real estate is perfect for this purpose. My only real complaint is the brightness of the screen. My Dell 27 had a much brighter screen in the monitor. All in all, the price-performance ratio can hardly be surpassed.
