Really heavy duty = 25 amps + 14 GA wire.

Much more durable than others with the same requirements as it has very strong terminals and cables. I don't see any markings on the cord, but they are much larger than a typical 16ga household power strip, so I'd say it's two sizes too big, so it would be 12ga as the description states. 4 hours. did not heat up any wires. I'm glad I only spent a few bucks for one I don't have to worry about.
