Can't say they don't leak. THEY LICK. But they leak a lot less than many other bottles I've tried and I must have tried at least 5 different orders to date. Some of them were useless from day one and I threw them all away; I wouldn't even bother storing water in it. Others took my saran and elastic mix to last a week or two before she started leaking. This particular bottle, which is really big, leaks MUCH less. Most oils will spill and if you press hard they will spill everywhere. There seems to be some magic "place" where it doesn't leak for some time, maybe 3-4 times. And then it will detach from that spot and there will be a leak. Still, they outperform most and I really like this purchase. I only keep 4-5 on my countertop for the regular oils and vinegars I use, but since this order came with 12 bottles I use the rest for homemade dressings or sauces as needed. I found them really difficult to clean, so I throw away some sauces after I've used up their contents, which isn't that unusual for soft plastic bottles. I will update - or if you know of one please let me know. But until then, this squeeze bottle is pretty good. I really like them, except for the occasional leak (when I just have to wipe the outside with soap and water and then squeeze the top hoping to hit the magic point), they serve their purpose well.
