Very nicely painted rims! RE: 1 inch rims. I've been striving to find a leather-bound laptop that contrasts with this mint color; White is the only color that seemed appropriate to me. Levenger offers a white leather binding, but I don't like how the dusty pink cotton twill lining matches the mint color. I chose Pearl Softolio in white leather. I say "I voted" because those beautiful slices were only visible when Softolio was open. These discs are compatible with Staples Arc discs. I'm also glad to own these great new drives and would recommend them to other drive laptop enthusiasts. RE: 1 1/2" discs. I'm a creature of habit. I only use 1" discs with smaller A5 and 3/4" letter/A4 discs. They've always been the right size combination for my needs. I've never found a use for any of the larger discs.Now I'm on my way to finding the perfect CD cover to pair with these absolutely beautiful mint colored discs.I think I'll take a look at Happy Planner Mini .I love the hard covers they offer but they don't currently have a color option that I think would go well with the mint color.I've read that people have a hard time keeping the mini fully closed.If I'm me watching the videos it always seems that if they bought bigger rims they wouldn't have this problem maybe I should own these great mint condition discs and would recommend them to other disc notebook enthusiasts.
