Review on Portable acoustics Harman/Kardon Go Play Mini, 100 W, white by Mateusz Zjc ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I bought this column, I am completely satisfied with it, it plays great for its size and price, it could not do without minuses. An excellent choice for your money. With its pros: It plays loud and clear up to 70%, doesn't fall into a mess even on fast tracks, but above 70% all harman products and its subsidiaries (JBL, AKG) start to suffer - sound compression and bass cutoff. For its price, it has no competitors, it has nothing corny to oppose. Nice design. Pleasant bass boost 60-100 Hz, about 3-5 dB. Ability to charge USB devices. Input 3.5 mm. Portability. Has some cons: Really weak battery. The minimum threshold is about 40 Hz, below this everything is cut off, with an increase in volume, the bass is very much reduced, the speakers are corny too small, the detail and attack speed also decrease. In proportion to the discharge of the battery, the maximum output power decreases, noticeable only on the bass parts. The reduction in maximum volume, power and attack speed when the power is turned off, compared to go + play, this aspect is much less pronounced, but still present. Software bug: if you turn on a heavily discharged column and discharge it to zero, it may not show signs of life, it is treated only by forced charging, and then waiting for the battery to completely discharge. The connection is only bluetooth 4.1, which is why there is a delay of 200 ms. No WI-Fi connection, no S/PDIF. When combining two speakers, there is no stereo, Harman dual sound, more than two speakers cannot be combined.
